...someone once said, "to understand the past one first must accept it" ...sure historical events seem to be cyclical, but too many people worry and fret about their own personal circumstances and develop a negative outlook on life. God shows us purpose in all that He (She)puts in our paths. Sometimes bad things seem to come in cycles. Rather than be pulled down by a bad series of events , claiming that "history repeats itself", it would be healthier to address life's travails with optimism and renewed faith...knowing that God has a purpose for us. Maybe someone should say "in order to predict the future, we should first understand the past".
