Someone should have knocked on wood.
It is now overcast again as it has been for months now. Apparently I live in Seattle and someone failed to tell me.
Here's some pics of the creeks that are now rivers. And some pics of the dams where the floodgates have been opened. Fortunately, I live on a hill and I work on a hill, so I have no problems...except with my grass.

i find it highly amusing that, judging from the number of people in that picture, this is apparently now a tourist attraction. have they set up a festival or something?
no festivals yet, but both mansfield and red bud are now tourist attractions, it's true. i guess this floodgates thing has never happened before or was so long ago no one remembers it.
does that one creek finally have water in it?
ha! yes, the "creek" does have water in it now.
