it's official: i'm a permanant sub at Johnston High School in Austin, TX. This means I arrive at the school each morning at 8:30 am and receive my assignment for the day. Indeed, under these circumstances, I am not exactly at liberty to choose what classroom to accept or reject before I arrive, but generally, I'm pretty happy with this arrangement.

Of course, I do have a few stories to tell . . . but that must come later, for I am at school right now, but am off to go teach a music class! hurray.
